NANHAÏ recently delivered a fully customized foam fender solution for a large cruise terminal in Europe. The port needed high-performance fenders to safely berth large vessels while ensuring clear visual guidance for docking operations.
This project came with unique challenges. The port required oversized foam fenders with specific dimensions and a bright orange finish to enhance visibility. Standard off-the-shelf products were not suitable for this environment.
To meet the client’s needs, NANHAI designed and manufactured foam filled fenders with a diameter of 2.5 meters and a length of 3.5 meters. The vivid orange color acts as a visual docking aid, improving safety for crews and dock operators even in low visibility conditions.
Thanks to the flexible production process of foam fenders, we are not limited by fixed mold sizes. This allows us to offer custom sizes and shapes, making our products ideal for complex berthing projects.
