NANHAI recently delivered a fully customized foam fender solution for a large cruise terminal in Europe. The port needed high-performance fenders to safely berth large vessels while ensuring clear visual guidance for docking operations.
This project came with unique challenges. The port required oversized foam fenders with specific dimensions and a bright orange finish to enhance visibility. Standard off-the-shelf products were not suitable for this environment.
To meet the client’s needs, NANHAI designed and manufactured foam filled fenders with a diameter of 2.5 meters and a length of 3.5 meters. The vivid orange color acts as a visual docking aid, improving safety for crews and dock operators even in low visibility conditions.
