Classification Of Pneumatic Fendders

Pneumatic fenders refer to devices used to assist ships in docking at docks or shores and operating cables. They can usually be divided into the following categories:

Offshore ship berthing ball: installed at the dock or shore, used to guide ships into or out of the port. Offshore berthing balls are generally larger, painted in bright colors, and equipped with lights and signs.

Cable ship ball: used to fix the cable and prevent the ship from drifting. Cable boat buoys are usually smaller and usually mounted on a fixed rope on a dock or shore.

Emergency boat berthing ball: used to help the ship moor or secure in an emergency. Emergency boat buoys are usually lightweight and easy to carry and use.

Marine ball core: The marine ball core is the core part of the ball and an important part of the marine ball. Marine ball cores are usually made of foam or air-filled materials to provide buoyancy and cushioning.

The above four types of pneumatic fenders have their own characteristics, and different types of props can be selected according to actual needs. The selection and use of marine berthing balls should comply with safety regulations and operating procedures to ensure safe berthing and cable operation of the ship.
